This body of work explores the everyday objects and routines that make up my personal environment. Serving as a quiet reflection on mental health and the complexities of living with mental illness. I document the tangible pieces of my daily life. In portraying routines that may seem normal or even mundane, I hope to challenge the perception of what it means to live with mental illness since normalcy and struggle can coexist. Habits can ground us, but also quietly point to cycles we are still trying to break. This work speaks to broader questions of visibility, vulnerability, and mental well-being. By photographing what is accessible and familiar to me, I aim to create an honest, personal record that resonates with the universal desire to seen--not just in illness, but in the fullness of being.
